Second Annual Youth Summit
Just ask one of these teens who attended the first annual Atlanta Community Food Bank Youth Summit last summer. They'll tell you it's a week they'll never forget. Participants must be entering 9th - 12th grade in the 2008 school year, and must be available from 8:30-4:30 the week of June 2 - 6.

Matching grant doubles your gift
For families struggling to make ends meet and for seniors on a fixed income facing rising energy costs, having enough food at the end of the month is a challenge. But you can help! The Food Bank provides food to over 800 nonprofits who feed thousands of people everyday. Thanks to a matching grant offered by a loyal donor, all online gifts will be doubled today through March 31! Please be as generous as you can to help us receive the full $10,000 challenge grant, so we can feed more of our hungry neighbors today.
Hunger Walk 2008 Update
We had gorgeous weather, and an estimated 12,000 people came out to walk, run and volunteer. The 24th annual Hunger Walk/Run could be a record-breaker!
If you didn't make it to the event, our online site will be taking donations through the end of March. All donors giving $25 or more will receive a free 2008 Hunger Walk/Run t-shirt!

$5 Wine Tasting Benefits Food Bank!
If you plan to attend the Atlanta Home Show March 13-16, be sure to check out the Circle of Wine: 30 Wines for 30 Years wine tasting. Weekday Volunteers Needed!
We need help filling shifts during the week. If you're a student or work full-time, consider bringing the whole group! Sorting and packing food boxes at the Food Bank's Product Rescue Center is a great team-building project for businesses, school groups and civic organizations.
