Take Mom's Advice,

Eat More Vegetables.

Take Our Advice,

Plant More Vegetables!

Planting an Extra Row

Plant a Row for the Hungry

Mom always says to eat more vegetables. We'd like to encourage you to plant more too. Whether you're a gardening enthusiast or novice, you can help put nutritious food on the table for those in need by planting an extra row or simply donating your excess veggies. Get all the details on this season's Plant a Row for the Hungry campaign and see the list of drop-off sites.

Save Gas - Take it to the Curb

Letter Carriers Collecting FoodThis Saturday, your letter carrier is going to make it easy for you to donate food, and you won't even have to get in your car! Just place a bag of nonperishable groceries at your mailbox in the morning, and it will be picked up for delivery to the Food Bank. Learn more about the 16th Annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive.

Twenty Years of Excellent Taste

Pano Karatassos at Taste of the NationCongratulations to Atlanta restaurateur Pano Karatassos for providing 20 years of leadership in the annual Share Our Strength Taste of the Nation benefit to end Childhood Hunger. This year's event, held on Thursday, May 1, raised more than $750,000 for Share Our Strength, the Food Bank, Genesis Shelter and Open Hand. Many thanks to Pano, and Atlanta's amazing community of chefs. You never cease to dazzle us!
