Chef Crete brings the Spanish and Portuguese influenced flavors of his Decatur restaurant to Simple Abundance. The menu for this class includes Ensalada Mixto: mixed field greens, pickled red onions, figs, Serrano ham, golden peppadews stuffed with Mahon cheese, piquillo peppers and sherry vinaigrette, Croquetas de Queso: crispy goat cheese, citrus-honey yogurt and lavender honey, B.W.D.: bacon wrapped medjool dates stuffed with Manchego cheese and walnuts, and Meat Flatbread: Serrano ham, arugula, caramelized onions, shaved manchego cheese, pistachio, and Chilean extra virgin olive oil. Evening includes wine tastings sponsored by Sherlock’s Wine Merchant and a chance to win tasty door prizes provided by Atlanta Beverage, Bella Cucina Artful Foods, Cabot Cheese and Via Elisa Authentic Fresh Pasta.
